R.B. v. HHS - DTaP, opsoclonus-myoclonus syndrome (OMS) (2014)

Amy Bishop and Jonathan Tyler Bishop, as parents and natural guardians of their infant son R.B., filed a petition for compensation on March 14, 2014. They alleged that the DTaP and Hib vaccines R.B. received on July 16, 2010, caused him to suffer opsoclonus-myoclonus syndrome (OMS).

The parties reached a stipulation of fact, and the case proceeded to a decision on attorneys' fees and costs. On March 14, 2014, the court awarded petitioners $28,500.00 in attorneys' fees and costs, an amount to which the respondent did not object.
